FLYING DAY
The rather wonderful and now ledgendary Candace and her two friends(Ana and Janie) picked us from Nats and took us to LAX, through a rather er voliatile?? neighbourhood, it was cool though we didn't get shotten at!
We arrived at LAX in plenty of time
SNOTTY managed to create a full scale security alert with the metal bar carefully grafted to his upper thigh, then we all managed to board the Continental airlines plane, in our own, wing seats.
We cant remember the flight so I can only assume we slept,
Landing back in Newark, we recovered, all of our baggage and waited outside for our trusty stallion or Adi's dads bus driven by the local Queens hero, Johnny Freakin Kray handshakes hugs and all the shit that sometimes happens when you meet an old friend.......er didnt happen, the guys had fond memories of John from 2002 when he drove THE SKEPTIX over to PROVIDENCE and was a little pissed to say the least, however, mentioning that to John is like mentioning the war to the Germans, its old hat he he
So off we go, we stop for pizzas beers,some merch boxes and a plastic baseball set, later in the tour we are to thrash the yankees at their home game, even with our half crip singer. Jon takes us to Scotties(the tall geezer who drums for Relix and Krays) house in Jersey City who makes us most welcome and lets us sort the merch out in his pad, By the time this happens its time to go to pick up John's stepdad Maniacs and David Tilted Nads from JFK airport. We arrive a few minutes late usual banter done with we head for Manhatten to drop off Mr Kray snr,
We now have the mammoth drive from NEW YORK CITY to ROANOAKE WEST VIRGINIA without further ado, off we go, without the crazy, shaved little guy.
